1:10 EP Corvette C5-R (Body Kit Only)

Tamiya presents a pre-painted realistic Corvette C5-R body included in the TA04-S chassis kit. In 1997 the Corvette underwent full body redesign and the 5th generation of Chevrolet Corvettes emerged along with the C5-R race version. Tamiya now offers an authentic reproduction of the car that took the overall prize at the 2001 Daytona 24-hour race and took the sports car racing world by surprise with its bold performance. The polycarbonate body comes pre-painted, so all you have to do is enjoy applying the stickers to complete the markings. The C5-R body features original coloring designed by Tamiya and even includes a large rear wing for more intense racing action.

Both upper and lower parts of the double-deck frame are constructed with reinforced resin and the chassis includes a high efficiency 2-belt drive 4WD system. The transmission and steering arms come fully equipped with ball bearings to minimize drive loss, boost top speed, and extend drive time.
